The Fine Brothers’s transmedia sitcom MyMusic raised money on Indiegogo for Little Kids Rock, a charity that brings music to underprivileged schools. The team used its existing popularity to give back to a great cause and raise awareness of a charity they cared about. The team soon fulfilled all of its perks including Skype calls, hoodies and VIP access.

Rooster Teeth Funds a Feature Length Sci-Fi Comedy

Rooster Teeth came to Indiegogo to take on a new adventure as they prepared for their first full-length feature film. After raising $2.48 million and breaking a crowdfunding record, “Lazer Team” is now in production and slated for a highly-anticipated Spring 2015 release. Fullscreen, a massive YouTube network of more than 50,000 video creators, has also since acquired Rooster Teeth.

Hannah Hart of “My Drunk Kitchen” takes the show on the road and gives out hugs like candy.

Hannah Hart, star of the online web cooking series, “My Drunk Kitchen,” created an Indiegogo campaign to fund a tour where she will host her show in homes across the country. With a goal of $50,000, the campaign ended up raising $223,007 and gave Hannah the opportunity to take her tour to Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand.

 

Smosh raises more than $250,000 for Food Battle: The Game

Smosh launched an Indiegogo campaign to create a 3D single-player action adventure game. The duo received valuable feedback on exactly what their audience wanted to see and took each comment into account when designing the game.
