Bring your game to life

At Indiegogo, we love our game makers. We’re here to provide you with the funding and resources to turn your vision of family fun into a reality. Plus, we’re collaborating with Hasbro to give game makers support, connections and knowhow. We want to put your idea in stores and living rooms nationwide.

Hasbro gaming challenge: for every game maker

Calling all creators of family face-to-face games meant to put a smile on the face of the whole family: Hasbro & Indiegogo want to champion your playful idea and carry it all the way to success. Learn more about the Family Game Challenge and click here for full terms and conditions.

Play to win

Hasbro game experts and celebrity judge Daymond John will select one Grand Prize Winner to receive $25,000 and a trip for four to Hasbro’s headquarters! Legendary game company Hasbro will provide mentorship for the winner and the possibility for their game to be made a reality.

Crowdfund like a pro

With mentorship from Hasbro and Indiegogo, five finalists will launch campaigns with all the best insider tips on how to crowdfund games. And the funding isn’t limited to one winner—each of the five finalists will receive $2,000 from Hasbro to help develop their idea.

Congratulations to the finalists of the Fall 2016 Hasbro challenge!

After reviewing more than 600 entries from game designers and inventors worldwide, we’re thrilled to announce that Hasbro has officially selected Chibi Quest!, Monsters in the Elevator, Trash Pandas, Cloud Control and Aardvark’s Runaway Railroad as the top five finalists for the Hasbro Gaming Lab Fall 2016 Next Great Game Challenge.

One Grand Prize Winner will receive $25,000, a trip to Hasbro HQ, and the opportunity to work with Hasbro’s game design professionals to make their game a reality.

Celebrating the previous winners

“Every time you can put something that’s well-designed in a kid’s hands, you’re going to inspire another kid twenty years from now.”

– Dan Goodsell, 2015 Grand Prize Winner on his game available in Target and online

In 2015, game creator Dan Goodsell’s inspiring and adorable campaign for The Mr. Toast Game was chosen to be manufactured by Hasbro and brought to stores nationwide. They did the same for the runner-up Indiegogo campaign for Hexes! (sold under the name “HEX CASTERS”) —a game of goofy wizardry that has players casting hexes like sneezing and singing, in living rooms far and wide.
